Looking back at my first fitness shoot

October 22, 2013

For awhile as I get this blog started much of it will be spent reminiscing about recently past photoshoots, as I have just relocated from Florida to Wisconsin. Many have asked "why such a big move?" I have some very, very good reasons...It was so worth it! As I look back at this very first and not so recent fitness shoot of Firedancer and Figure Competitor Christar Damiano, I got the feeling as I did this shoot that I was totally hooked on fitness photography and I had certainly found my niche. I had a slow start but as I shot one person, then another, and another, then they would tell their friends, it became like an avalanche of one fantastic physique after the next. Once Musclepapa John Hawley had me shooting some bodybuilding shows along with him I began to meet more and more people, and it lead to one amazing set of circumstances after the next from a shoot with amazing show Cane Corso Mastiffs with an Olympia competitor (she came in 6th! So proud!) to fitness shoots with rainbows, blazing Florida sunsets, the full moon, commando brandishing a variety of weapons, fitness girls working police dogs, muscles pumping in gyms all over Florida, beautiful bikini girls during blue hour, it has been a non-stop form of entertainment and a form of work that is hard for me to call "work"...Each person after the next has been absolutely wonderful to create with, and I am very greatful for the experience I have had the privelege of having. I can not wait to see the scenery and circumstances the great state of Wisconsin has to offer!
